But the real nugget came at the end, IMO: "The bride’s first marriage ended in divorce, as did the bridegroom’s." I mean, wouldn't something like this: "This is the second marriage for both" ... been slightly more hopeful? =)

Uh, they already use Tablet PCs at my doctor's office.

But I won't hold my breath on this "revolution" because I work Network Security and know well how little it takes for those documents to end up for the highest bidder. Just because it's Apple does not make it inherently more secure, because often the problem in security isn't the hardware, but the person using the hardware. Consider the trojan problem: you have to click a link or open a file to make a trojan work, and even though people are reminded every day, they still click. So yeah, there is great danger in going down this path if people aren't educated about the dangers, like a lot of health problems strangely enough.

Excellent points, but I'd argue for a "none of the above" option. I think the business model for "news" is beyond broken and that the model that wins will never again be a single source of news that covers every thing in one publication/product (world, local, sports, entertainment, etc), but rather very vertically focused, best of breed sources with different business models.

As for mass media, look at how many ex-newspaper/magazine journalists AOL is hiring up.

Either way, in 5-10 years, the world of journalism will look nothing like it did 10 years ago.
